So many have enquired that I've been bursting to tell. Now we can, at last, launch
'Riverboat' For all those, 'Far From The Madding Crowd'
Travel with me from our starting point at 'Kingfisher Falls'. Feel the freshness of morning when
'Poachers Dawn' wakes our sleepy eyes............. perhaps you might want to feed the ducks who are so
hungry in the mornings, 'Ducks & Drakes'...... after a long day meandering English waterways, let's tie
up & build a fire, perhaps a barbecue, during our 'Night Moorings'.
Perhaps we might make a 'Buttercup Necklace' for each other, if we can remember from our childhood? Next
day, the 'Summer Storm' moves in quickly giving a refreshing & pungent fragrance to the earth. We stumble
upon a funfair at 'Priddy Fair', with steam organs & galloping horses, country cider & coconut shy's. After
a sticky toffee apple we travel to the coolness of the Abbey & take a chilled drink from the 'Abbey
Fountain'. All is still here after the excitement of the fair. 'Downstream' we tie the boat just to listen
to these wonderful surroundings & revel in the beautiful sounds of nature..........& drift into a deep
summer sleep as we dream a 'River Lullaby'
This was 'Riverboat' in my mind............ perhaps you might discover it too?
